Cognida.ai review

Chicago-area and Silicon Valley AI implementation firm that puts AI into enterprise finance, accounting and operations, now with its own accounting automation product.

Reviewed October 2026

Our verdict

Cognida.ai is an AI development, implementation and consulting firm founded in 2022 by Feroze Mohammed, Abid Mohammed, Deb Acharya and Gopalakrishna Kuppuswamy, with offices in Lincolnshire, Illinois; Sunnyvale, California; and Hyderabad, India. It raised a $15 million Series A led by Nexus Venture Partners in February 2025 (Marca Money).

Cognida builds AI agents, data platforms and integrations into the systems enterprises already run, and pairs that service work with software: Zunō, its platform for production machine learning and agents, and RevX, a revenue product (Cognida). In August 2026 it acquired Automate, an accounting and operations AI platform, from Within, formerly Klarity (Cognida).

For a finance or accounting leader who wants AI applied to revenue accounting, contract review or invoice processing with audit controls, Cognida now offers both the implementation team and a product that already runs those workflows.

The right buyer

  • Finance and accounting leaders who want AI applied to revenue accounting, contract review or invoice processing.
  • Buyers who want an implementation team plus a product, Automate, that already runs those workflows.
  • Companies on Databricks that need AI integrated into the systems they already run.

Reasons to look elsewhere

  • Cognida was founded in 2022, and its accounting product came through an acquisition in August 2026.
  • We found no independent client reviews; the customer quote available appears in its own press release.
  • It does not publish headcount or pricing.
