OneByZero review

OneByZero is a Singapore-headquartered AI deployment company founded in 2023 that places forward-deployed engineers inside large enterprises across Asia Pacific to build and govern AI coworkers on Amazon Web Services.

Our verdict

OneByZero raised a US$20 million Series A led by Jungle Ventures in October 2026, its first outside funding, after three years of putting AI into production for banks, telecom operators, and retailers. It suits a large Asia Pacific enterprise that wants governed AI agents running inside existing systems with an on-site engineering team, and it is less suited to a US mid-market buyer looking for a small fixed-scope product build.

The right buyer

  • Asia Pacific banks, telecom operators, and retailers that want AI coworkers inside live systems. Its press materials say deployments have automated more than 90% of some customer-facing interactions and cut data-modernization timelines by about 50% (OneByZero press release).
  • Buyers who want a forward-deployed model. Engineers work alongside the client team to identify value, ship the system, and stay to run and improve it (OneByZero press release).
  • Enterprises that need governance and audit trails. Its NEO platform records every agent action and is described as SOC 2 Type II compliant on the homepage (onebyzero.ai).

Reasons to look elsewhere

  • Its public client record is thin on named logos; case claims come from the firm and trade press, and named customer case studies are scarce.
  • Headquarters and most delivery sit in Asia Pacific, so a US-only buyer who needs an onshore American team should look elsewhere.

OneByZero, At A High Level

Niket Vaidya and Vibhore Kumar founded OneByZero in 2023 in Singapore after Vaidya spent a decade scaling Unscrambl and Kumar brought research work from IBM and Georgia Tech. The firm calls itself a Frontier AI Deployment Company: forward-deployed engineers plus the NEO control layer that runs AI coworkers inside the client’s cloud (about page; TechNode Global).

  • Headquartered in Singapore with operations in Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, the United States, and Vietnam, and a planned Japan team (press release).
  • Raised US$20 million Series A led by Jungle Ventures on 5 October 2026, its first external funding, after saying revenue more than doubled each year for three years (press release).
  • Builds and deploys exclusively on Amazon Web Services; the about page lists GenAI Innovation Centre partnership and an ASEAN Consulting Rising Star of the Year 2026 award (about page).
  • We estimate annual revenue at about $8 million to $15 million from the Series A stage, nine-market footprint, and three years of doubling growth (TechNode Global).

What clients and leaders say

OneByZero’s leaders and clients describe its work in published announcements. One buyer concern is written from public facts about the firm.

“Every enterprise can now get access to powerful AI. The value comes when it runs inside the systems that run the business, under the company’s own rules, and gets better every week.”

“We have built NEO so companies can define what AI is allowed to do, where human judgement is required and how every system is governed.”

“The Series A story is strong, but we could not find named customer case studies on the site, so we asked for two reference calls in our industry before we signed.”

Where customer reviews couldn’t be found, our analysts attempted to give a voice to buyer sentiment, drawing on real information from review sites, forums and product documentation. Based on: OneByZero Series A press release and homepage, which describe results without naming client logos.
