Noah Gale is co-founder and president of Tribe AI, an AI development, implementation and consulting firm in New York, New York, that he started in 2019 with Jaclyn Rice Nelson. He leads its commercial work, brand and enterprise partnerships, and before Tribe he was on the founding team at Gigster and incubated platforms at Expa (Tribe AI).
From Gigster to Tribe
At Gigster, a platform that assembles software development teams, he saw fast-growing companies looking for help with machine learning and data science. Tribe began as a way to hire out contract AI talent and grew into a full AI services firm that works through a network of more than 500 contractors. After ChatGPT arrived, demand went through a “massive boom,” he told TechCrunch in 2024, when the company raised its first outside money after six years of bootstrapping. He is also an angel investor and adviser to more than 40 AI and deep-tech companies.
