Hero Digital, Winter Sun, and the path to Cleartelligence
Before Cleartelligence, Frivold co-founded Hero Digital and served as executive vice president of its strategy practice, helping organizations reshape customer experiences with data-driven work (Cleartelligence). He was also founder and managing partner at Winter Sun, a boutique advisory firm focused on business strategy and digital transformation, with work across financial services, healthcare, and technology (Cleartelligence).
Leading an ACP-backed data firm
Align Capital Partners partner Jack Parks said Frivold brought “a proven track record of driving growth and operational excellence” when he became CEO (Cleartelligence). Frivold said he was joining “at such a pivotal time,” citing Cleartelligence’s reputation in data solutions and decision intelligence for private equity portfolio companies (Cleartelligence). The firm had already bought Bardess Group in 2024 to deepen data engineering, a deal Frivold backed while serving as president (Cleartelligence).
