Robert Bogucki

Co-founder and former CEO, deepsense.ai

Robert Bogucki is a co-founder and former chief executive of deepsense.ai, an AI development, implementation and consulting firm in Warsaw, Poland, that began in 2014 as a machine learning team inside CodiLime, the software company he also helped found. An award-winning Kaggle competitor, he was chief technology officer and deputy CEO, ran deepsense.ai from June 2024 to May 2025 and then joined Google’s Cloud AI team in Warsaw.

Mathematics, UBS and CodiLime

He holds master’s degrees in mathematics and computer science from the University of Warsaw, worked at UBS and co-founded CodiLime before deepsense.ai (deepsense.ai). Tomasz Kułakowski has written that CodiLime was founded in June 2011 by four people, “quickly supplemented by three more, including Robert Bogucki.” He has lectured on machine learning at university level and invests in early-stage startups as an angel investor and venture partner.

Running deepsense.ai and Moving to Google Cloud AI

When he took over as chief executive in June 2024, he looked back on the early days. “For years, we patiently explained to our clients that ‘AI’ isn’t something you can talk to and ask to do stuff,” he wrote on LinkedIn. In May 2025 he and a small group of colleagues joined Google’s Cloud AI team, and he stepped down as CEO “11 years after co-founding the company,” handing the role to Adam Górniak and staying on as a shareholder (LinkedIn).
