At American Express, Chary sat on the board of American Express Centurion Bank and on the global management team while leading data and analytics for the company (Crenshaw Associates). He holds a BA in economics, a BS in molecular genetics, and an MS in public policy analysis from the University of Rochester, and he serves as a trustee at Harvey Mudd College (Crenshaw Associates).
