Vijay Rao is the founder of v4c.ai, the Scottsdale, Arizona, data and AI firm that works only on Databricks. He is known for building Apisero into the world’s largest pure-play MuleSoft consultancy before NTT Data bought it (v4c.ai).
Building Apisero
He was the founder and CEO of Apisero, which grew to more than 2,000 certified experts in MuleSoft and Salesforce technologies, won MuleSoft Partner of the Year eight times, and took investment from Salesforce Ventures. NTT Data acquired it in October 2022 (v4c.ai).
v4c.ai and Databricks
He joined the v4c.ai board in August 2024, when the firm was a partner for the Dataiku AI platform (v4c.ai). It has since become a pure-play Databricks partner with more than 400 staff, and in May 2026 it took investment from Databricks Ventures and Tquila. “We built v4c around a deep belief in the Databricks vision and the future of the Lakehouse ecosystem,” he said (v4c.ai). Our v4c.ai review covers the firm.
