Our verdict

Artizent is the July 2026 rebrand of Nous Infosystems, a 30-year engineering services firm that TA Associates invested in during 2025, and Anthropic made it a Claude Select partner in October 2026. It suits a bank, insurer, or industrial company that wants a large offshore-backed team to modernize core systems with AI agents under strict controls, and it is less suited to a small company that wants a boutique team.

The right buyer

  • Banks, financial services firms, and property and casualty insurers, its stated focus industries (PR Newswire).
  • Companies that need AI to run inside their own cloud. Its agents run in client-controlled environments with approval controls and audit trails (PR Newswire).
  • Large modernization programs. Its ASTRA Engineering platform uses Claude agents across requirements, design, code generation, testing, review, and deployment (PR Newswire).

Reasons to look elsewhere

  • The Artizent name dates only to July 2026, so most of its public record sits under the Nous Infosystems name.
  • Its scale and India-heavy delivery suit large programs more than small, fast projects.

Artizent, At A High Level

Ajith J Pillai founded the company as Nous Infosystems in 1996; it rebranded as Artizent in July 2026 with unchanged ownership, leadership, and teams, and a sharper focus on software and product engineering, data and analytics, cloud modernization, quality engineering, automation, and applied AI (TA Associates). Milan Bhatt, formerly president of cloud, data, and AI services at Hexaware Technologies, became CEO in July 2025 (Artizent).

  • Headquartered in Edison, New Jersey, with delivery in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, Serbia, and India (PR Newswire).
  • About 2,149 employees as of March 2026 under the Nous Infosystems name, according to Revelio Labs; we estimate annual revenue of $100 million to $130 million (Revelio Labs).
  • More than 150 Claude Certified Architects and Select partner status in the Claude Partner Network since October 23, 2026 (PR Newswire).
  • Backed by TA Associates since 2025 (TA Associates).

What clients and leaders say

Artizent’s leaders and clients describe its work in published announcements. One buyer concern is written from public facts about the firm.

“Enterprise AI has to do more than produce a plausible answer or a faster first draft. It has to work with a customer’s data, follow their rules, and show people how it reached a result.”

“I founded Nous with the belief that strong engineering discipline, combined with a deep understanding of data and customer context, leads to consistently good outcomes.”

“We kept finding their project history under the old Nous name, which made checking references slower.”

Where customer reviews couldn’t be found, our analysts attempted to give a voice to buyer sentiment, drawing on real information from review sites, forums and product documentation. Based on: TA Associates rebrand announcement, which says the name change rolls out over the following months.
