Blueprint Technologies review

Blueprint Technologies is a data and AI consulting firm founded in 2013 and based in Bellevue, Washington, that modernizes Databricks data estates, sells a cost and governance tool called Lakehouse Optimizer, and takes AI use cases into production through a 12-week program.

Reviewed November 2, 2026

Our verdict

Blueprint has won three Databricks partner awards since 2022 for governance and migration work, and in July 2026 it added an executive health and cost view to its Lakehouse Optimizer. It suits a large company already running Databricks that wants help with governance, cost, and putting AI use cases into production, and it is less suited to a buyer outside the Databricks ecosystem.

The right buyer

  • Companies with a large Databricks estate. Its Executive Insights Engine ranks cost, performance, and orchestration fixes across hundreds of workspaces (Blueprint).
  • Teams finishing a Unity Catalog migration. It won Databricks’ 2025 Unity Catalog Partner of the Year award (PR Newswire).
  • Buyers who want a fixed path to production AI. Its AI Factory runs a one-day readiness workshop, a six-week foundations stage, and a 12-week build and deploy stage (AI Factory page).

Reasons to look elsewhere

  • Most of its recent awards and tooling are for Databricks, so a Snowflake or Fabric shop should look elsewhere.
  • Its own software sits in many projects, so a buyer who wants a fully tool-neutral adviser may prefer a firm without its own software.

  • Launched the Executive Insights Engine for Lakehouse Optimizer on July 29, 2026 (Blueprint).

Scores by criterion

Where Blueprint Technologies fits

Blueprint is used by large companies running Databricks at scale, often in manufacturing, retail, and financial services, that want governance, cost control, and AI delivery from one partner. On price it is a US mid-market consultancy, below the global integrators. Competitors on this site include Koantek and Entrada for Databricks specialists, Logic20/20 for Seattle-area data consulting, and Aimpoint Digital for Databricks AI work.

What clients and leaders say

Blueprint Technologies’s leaders and clients describe its work in published announcements. One buyer concern is written from public facts about the firm.

“Any consumption-based platform must have governance in place. It’s not a nice-to-have; it’s mandatory if you want to scale effectively, avoid overspending, and build trust in your data.”

“Blueprint has shown exceptional commitment to helping enterprises modernize governance within the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.”

“By hiring talent from different backgrounds, we enrich teams, drive creativity, and solve problems more effectively.”

“The cost findings paid for the project, but a lot of it ran through their own optimizer, so we priced the license separately from the services.”
