Our verdict
InterWorks turned 30 in October 2026, the same week Anthropic made it a Claude Select partner, and it brings long experience with Tableau, Snowflake, and Sigma to AI work. It suits a company that wants Claude rolled out to staff with governance, training, and cost controls on top of a data platform it runs today, and it is less suited to a buyer who wants a custom AI product built from scratch.
The right buyer
- Companies rolling Claude out to many employees. For Keplr Vision it grew Claude use from 12 people in May 2026 to 107 by September (InterWorks blog).
- Snowflake and Sigma customers. Its Claude work connects to governed Snowflake data and Sigma dashboards (InterWorks blog).
- Buyers who want governance built in from the start, with role-based access, policies, and cost monitoring (InterWorks blog).
Reasons to look elsewhere
- Its roots are business intelligence and IT services, so buyers who want deep machine learning research may prefer a specialist.
- It publishes no rates or engagement minimums.
InterWorks, At A High Level
Behfar Jahanshahi incorporated InterWorks in 1996 while studying at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, and the firm moved from IT services to web development and, from 2011, Tableau-led business intelligence (our story). It now runs five Claude services: advisory, deployment with governance, training and adoption, ongoing operations, and building prototypes into production systems (InterWorks blog).
- Headquartered in Stillwater, Oklahoma, with offices that grew to include New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta, Europe, Australia, and Singapore (our story).
- Its own history page describes growth to 275 employees; we estimate about 300 staff today and annual revenue of $50 million to $65 million (our story).
- A Claude Select consulting partner since October 2026, with Claude Certified Architects across the company (InterWorks blog).
- At Keplr Vision, a services organization for optometry practices, Claude automation recovered 160 hours of back-office work in a 90-day trial, according to InterWorks (InterWorks blog).

Where InterWorks fits
InterWorks is used by companies that run analytics on Snowflake, Tableau, or Sigma and now want AI assistants and agents on top of that governed data, along with the training and policies that make staff use them. On price it is a mid-to-upper tier US consultancy. Competitors on this site include phData and Analytics8 for data-first AI, Aimpoint Digital for analytics and AI on cloud data platforms, and v4c.ai for Databricks-only work.
| Need | Fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A governed Claude rollout across a company | Strong | It grew Keplr Vision from 12 to 107 Claude users in about four months. |
| AI on a Snowflake or Sigma data stack | Strong | Its Claude work connects to governed Snowflake data and Sigma dashboards. |
| A custom AI product for end customers | Good | It builds prototypes into production with AI development and managed services. |
| Frontier model research | Weak | Its strength is deployment, governance, and data platforms. |
What clients and leaders say
InterWorks’s leaders and clients describe its work in published announcements. One buyer concern is written from public facts about the firm.
“The tool matters, but how you deploy, govern and adopt it matters more.”
“I would daydream about the complex problems a business might have with their technology and incorporated InterWorks while attending OSU in Stillwater, Oklahoma and turned my focus towards solving technical problems for business.”
“They were great at getting our people using Claude safely, but for a customer-facing AI product we needed more product engineers than they put on the account.”
Where customer reviews couldn’t be found, our analysts attempted to give a voice to buyer sentiment, drawing on real information from review sites, forums and product documentation. Based on: InterWorks Claude services page, which lists advisory, governance, training, and operations as its core services.
