Tameshi is an AWS cloud and AI consultancy headquartered in Łódź, Poland, with an office in Zagreb, Croatia, that migrates banks and other regulated companies to AWS and builds generative AI and agent systems on Amazon Bedrock.

Our verdict

Tameshi has spent years moving banks in Poland, Ukraine, and the Baltic states onto AWS, and it now builds generative AI and agent systems for the same kind of regulated client, backed by the AWS Generative AI Competency (Tameshi; AI solutions). It suits a bank, insurer, or large company in Central and Eastern Europe that runs on AWS and wants AI built under strict compliance, and it is less suited to a company that wants to stay independent of any one cloud.

The right buyer

  • Banks and regulated companies on AWS. Its clients include banking leaders in Poland, Ukraine, and the Baltic states, and it works with Polish law firms on compliance (Tameshi; homepage).
  • Contact centers that want AI call analysis. For Nest Bank it built an Amazon Connect system that records, transcribes, and scores the sentiment of customer calls (Nest Bank case).
  • Companies paying too much for identity checks. For an iGaming platform it built an AI identity verification system that costs $0.03 to $0.05 per check (KYC case).

Reasons to look elsewhere

  • It works only on AWS, so a buyer on Azure or Google Cloud should look elsewhere.
  • Its AI practice is newer than its cloud migration work, and most of its clients are in Central and Eastern Europe.

Tameshi, At A High Level

Tameshi is an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, an AWS Partner of the Year for Central and Eastern Europe, and was the first company in Poland to earn AWS Migration and Security competencies (Tameshi; homepage). Maciej Cetler is its CEO and co-founder, a role he has held since October 2018 (The Org).

  • Headquartered at Sienkiewicza 59 in Łódź, Poland, with an office in Zagreb, Croatia (about page).
  • More than 80 specialists, all AWS certified, by its own count; we estimate annual revenue at $6 million to $8 million (about page).
  • Three in four of its customers have more than 1,000 employees, and it says it manages more than 1,000 petabytes of storage for clients (homepage; about page).
  • Builds generative AI assistants, document processing, and multi-agent systems on Amazon Bedrock, with monitoring after launch (AI solutions).
