Tayyab Ali is the CEO of AlphaBOLD, the Carlsbad, California, Microsoft and NetSuite consulting firm, and a Microsoft Dynamics CRM-certified consultant who has spent his career building business applications for construction, manufacturing, and service companies (AlphaBOLD; LinkedIn).
Leading Consulting at AlphaBOLD
In 2019, as AlphaBOLD’s vice president of consulting, Ali described a firm built around Microsoft Dynamics 365 for architecture, engineering, construction, and manufacturing companies, whose crews and staff work spread out across job sites (CIOReview). “Taking it a notch higher, we have a purpose-built solution called BOLDBuild that is packaged atop the Dynamics 365 stack,” he said of the firm’s tool for linking field workers to the office and automating inventory, equipment, and field operations (CIOReview).
A former colleague, Ed Petersen, wrote in a public LinkedIn recommendation that Ali “has an uncanny ability to quickly identify the source of the client’s pain that they sometimes have a hard time articulating” (LinkedIn).
Taking AlphaBOLD into AI Agents
As CEO, Ali has pushed the firm toward AI built on Microsoft tools. Before the 2025 AI Agent and Copilot Summit in San Diego, California, where AlphaBOLD ran a masterclass on AI agents and Azure AI Foundry, he said, “The goal is to leverage available technology without reinventing the wheel,” and described breaking large projects into phases so each milestone builds on the last (MSDynamicsWorld).
In October 2026 he wrote that AlphaBOLD’s agents “all start from the same question: where can we give people time back?” and that its agents for resource assignment, project status reporting, and vendor recommendations came from hours clients were losing to manual work (LinkedIn; AlphaBOLD). That month he also added Lovable as an AlphaBOLD partner to help clients prototype faster, and he attended the Power Platform Community Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada (LinkedIn).
