Yuriy Adamchuk has been chief executive of STX Next, the Poznań data and AI engineering consultancy, since July 17, 2025. He came from Avenga, a global engineering and consulting company he ran as CEO from 2022 (STX Next).
Climbing through data and operations at Avenga
At Avenga, Adamchuk held the chief operating officer and chief data officer roles before he became chief executive in 2022, according to STX Next’s announcement. That path, through data first and operations second, lines up with STX Next’s current pitch as a data and AI/ML consultancy built on cloud infrastructure.
Delivery centers in the United States and Ukraine
Before Avenga he was deputy CEO of CoreValue Services, where he oversaw delivery centers in the United States and Ukraine and opened new partnerships in Germany. Earlier he worked in strategy and audit roles at PPF Investments, PwC, and KPMG.
Conflict resolution and Harvard
Adamchuk holds an MSc in Conflict Resolution from George Mason University and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Taking over a 20-year-old Python house
STX Next was founded in 2005 and built its name on Python development. It now describes itself as a team of 450-plus specialists working from delivery centers in Poland and Mexico, with more than 1,000 projects delivered.
