Our verdict

STX Next is a Python software house in Poznań, Poland, with more than 450 specialists, and it now sells data platforms, AI agents, and machine learning alongside its custom development. Outside listings put it at about $50 to $99 an hour, level with 10Clouds and Miquido and below most US firms. It is a strong choice for a company that wants an established data and AI team with AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks partnerships, and a weaker one for a buyer who wants a small, founder-led studio.

The right buyer

  • Finance and investment firms. It built an agentic AI tool for an investment team at Permira and automation that saves Mattioli Woods more than 14,000 staff hours a year (homepage; portfolio).
  • Industrial and manufacturing companies. Its cases include predictive maintenance that cut unplanned downtime by 20% and knowledge retrieval with large language models for an industrial client (homepage).
  • Companies building on AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric. It is an AWS Advanced Tier partner with Snowflake and Databricks partnerships and a Microsoft Fabric data platform case (about page).
  • Buyers who want a large, certified vendor. It reports ISO 27001 certification and TISAX validation (about page).

Reasons to look elsewhere

  • Buyers on a tight budget can find lower rates. Outside listings put it at about $50 to $99 an hour, against about $25 to $49 at Uptech and Intuz (GoodFirms profile).
  • Ownership and leadership have changed in recent years: an Innova Capital fund bought a majority stake in 2020, STX Next acquired Brainhub in December 2024, and Yuriy Adamchuk became CEO in July 2025 (about page).
  • Much of its portfolio is general software and data engineering, so a buyer looking only for AI work has fewer cases to compare.
  • A team of more than 450 people may be more than a small startup needs.

Where STX Next fits

STX Next is used by investment firms, insurers, manufacturers, and media groups that want data platforms, automation, and AI built by a large engineering team. It is best for data engineering on AWS, Snowflake, or Databricks and for AI features on top of that data. On price it is in the middle of the firms we review. Competitors on this site include 10Clouds and deepsense.ai in Poland, Sunscrapers for Python data work in finance, and Provectus for AWS-heavy AI projects.
