Our verdict
Datumo has worked on data platforms since 2017, counts 80 long-term projects and more than 579,000 hours of project work, and grew its revenue to 21.5 million zloty (about $5.8 million) in 2025 (homepage; company register). It suits a European company that wants senior data engineers to build or move a large data platform and prepare it for machine learning and AI, and it is less suited to a buyer that wants a finished AI application with a product team around it.
The right buyer
- Companies moving off old big data systems. Its published use cases include what it calls the largest Hadoop migration to Google Cloud, and for one client it moved key operations to BigQuery before a full cloud move (Datumo; homepage).
- Healthcare and life sciences firms. For a global medtech company it built an Azure platform that brings robotic device data from many hospitals into one place, with MLOps pipelines for analytics (medtech case).
- Marketing and retail data teams. For a healthcare company it built a unified Snowflake and dbt data model for an omnichannel marketing dashboard and marketing return on investment, and the fashion retailer LPP used it for a marketing automation platform on Google Cloud (Consumer 360 case; homepage).
Reasons to look elsewhere
- Its work centers on data platforms, so a buyer that wants a customer-facing AI product designed and built end to end will find fewer cases.
- With about 70 people, most of them in Poland, it is sized for a few large platform programs at a time.
Datumo, At A High Level
Datumo was registered in Warsaw in October 2017 and is run by a four-person management board: chief executive Piotr Guzik, chief technology officer Michał Misiewicz, chief data officer Rafał Rozpondek, and chief operating officer Julia Kasparek (company register; about page). - Registered at Józefa Piusa Dziekońskiego 1 in Warsaw, Poland (company register).
- Revenue of 21.5 million zloty (about $5.8 million) and a profit of 466,600 zloty in 2025; about 70 people by its own count (company register; about page).
- Services cover data platform creation, migration, and modernization on Google Cloud, Snowflake, and Azure, plus customer data platforms, MLOps platforms, and AI work such as Gemini-based document processing (homepage).
- Clients quoted on its site include LPP, G2A, iTaxi, C&F, and Quantia (homepage).

Where Datumo fits
Datumo is used by Polish and European companies in retail, e-commerce, healthcare, and finance that need a cloud data platform built, moved, or cleaned up, often as the base for analytics, machine learning, and AI. On price it sits with Polish data engineering consultancies, below Western European and US data firms. Competitors on this site include Sunscrapers and STX Next for Polish data engineering, and Advancing Analytics for data platform and AI consulting.
| Need | Fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Migrating Hadoop or an old warehouse to the cloud | Strong | Migration and modernization are core services, with a large Hadoop to Google Cloud case. |
| A data platform ready for machine learning | Strong | It builds MLOps pipelines and platforms on Azure and Google Cloud. |
| A customer data platform for marketing | Good | It built Consumer 360 and worked on LPP’s marketing automation platform. |
| A customer-facing AI app built from scratch | Weak | Its cases center on data platforms. |
What clients and leaders say
Datumo’s leaders and clients describe its work in published announcements. One buyer concern is written from public facts about the firm.
“Their team reviewed our technology choices in the context of LPP’s business needs, identified key trade-offs, and gave us confidence in the target architecture on Google Cloud.”
“They demonstrate strong technical skills, high engagement and solid sense of ownership - qualities we seek in all our partners.”
“Datumo simplified our technology stack, moved our key operations to BigQuery and prepared us for a full migration to Google Cloud.”
“The data engineers knew Google Cloud and Snowflake well, but when we asked about the AI application on top, most of the examples they could show were platform work, and there were no published rates.”
Where customer reviews couldn’t be found, our analysts attempted to give a voice to buyer sentiment, drawing on real information from review sites, forums and product documentation. Based on: the services and case studies on Datumo’s homepage and its medtech case.
