Snap Analytics review

Snap Analytics is a data and AI consultancy based in Bristol, England, with teams in India and South Africa, that builds Snowflake and Databricks data platforms, moves SAP data into them, and sets up the analytics and AI that run on top.

Reviewed November 4, 2026

Our verdict

Snap Analytics grew from a two-person start-up in 2020 to more than 150 people by October 2025, is a Snowflake Premier services partner, and has delivered SAP-fed data platforms for Premier Foods, Brother, and Vivo Energy (South West Tech Daily; Snap Analytics; homepage). It suits a UK or European company with SAP and other core systems that wants its data on Snowflake or Databricks and ready for AI, and it is less suited to a buyer that wants a custom AI product with no data platform work.

The right buyer

  • Companies with data locked in SAP. Its accelerators move SAP data into Snowflake and Databricks, and for Premier Foods it combined SAP, legacy, and SaaS data in a platform that saves about 100 person-days a month on market share reports (homepage; Premier Foods case).
  • Consumer goods and manufacturing firms. It built Brother Europe its own data platform and reporting engine, so the European team no longer had to route data requests through headquarters overseas (Brother case).
  • Regulated financial services teams. Its delivery team at St James’s Place grew from five to more than 25 people in 12 months and took on regulatory data projects (Snap Analytics).

Reasons to look elsewhere

  • Its work starts from the data platform, so a buyer that wants a standalone AI app without platform work will find fewer cases.
  • Its clients are mostly in the UK and Europe, so US buyers will find fewer local references.

Snap Analytics, At A High Level

Snap Analytics is run by group chief executive David Rice, one of its co-founders, with co-founders Tom Bruce, Jan Van Ansem, and Raj Shah, chief operating officer Alexa Wright, and chairman Dan Hawker (leadership page). Its UK company, registered in 2012, supplies data analytics services to corporate clients and owns subsidiaries that include teams in Cape Town and Jammu (Companies House; homepage).

  • Registered office at 43 Queen Square in Bristol, England (Companies House).
  • More than 150 people across the group in October 2025; the UK company averaged 71 employees in the year to March 2026, up from 41, and its net assets rose to £3.15 million; we estimate annual revenue at $15 million to $19 million (South West Tech Daily; filed accounts).
  • Services cover data strategy, platform modernization, SAP data integration, analytics, machine learning, and generative AI on Snowflake and Databricks (homepage).
  • Partners include Snowflake, Databricks, and Matillion (South West Tech Daily; Snap Analytics).
