Nimble Gravity review

Denver data and AI firm, founded in 2019, that builds AI agents and data platforms for banks, insurers, and private credit investors.

Reviewed October 27, 2026

Our verdict

Nimble Gravity is the firm US banks, insurers, private credit investors, and mid-sized companies hire to put AI agents and data platforms into production on Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Anthropic’s Claude, with engineers in the US and Latin America. Nimble Gravity doesn’t publish its rates; its closest rivals are HatchWorks AI of Atlanta, Muttdata of Buenos Aires, and Blue Orange Digital of New York. It is a strong choice for a financial services company on Azure that wants a Claude-based workflow running quickly, but its largest results come from clients it does not identify.

The right buyer

  • Banks and insurers on Microsoft Azure that want AI agents in production. Its submission intake platform for a commercial insurer runs in nine countries and is 65% faster on the most complex submissions (insurer case study), and a national bank now drafts credit memos in minutes instead of hours (bank case study).
  • Companies rolling out Claude across their staff. It holds Preferred status in Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network, a tier that needs at least 100 certified people and 15 joint customers and that fewer than 40 firms hold (Anthropic page).
  • Private credit and investment teams with heavy document review. For one investor it cut analyst effort per portfolio by 60% to 70% with over 85% extraction accuracy (diligence case study).
  • Mid-sized operators that want a quick, measurable AI win. Arctic Glacier’s AI ordering system delivered more than $1 million in value within 10 weeks and meant 30 fewer seasonal hires (Arctic Glacier case study).

Reasons to look elsewhere

  • It publishes no rates, minimums, or package prices (homepage).
  • Its biggest financial services results, for a national bank, a commercial insurer, a private credit investor, and a global financial institution, are for clients it does not identify (case studies).
  • Three acquisitions have added teams. Fog Solutions, bought in August 2025, was its third, after iGerencia in Colombia and mDEVZ in Argentina, and added about 50 people (acquisition announcement).
  • Its partnerships and case studies center on Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Claude, so it shows little AWS or Google Cloud work (case studies; Anthropic practice launch).

Nimble Gravity, At A High Level

Nimble Gravity began as a lifestyle business, in Tony Aug’s words (Shoutout Colorado), and has since bought three firms, taken outside investment from Rallyday Partners, and earned Microsoft and Anthropic partner recognition.

Nimble Gravity is a data and AI consultancy in Denver, Colorado, that builds AI agents, data platforms, and custom software, with most of its recent work in banking, insurance, and private credit.

  • Founded in 2019 by Tony Aug, its CEO, and Joe Ackert, its CTO (About page).
  • Has about 250 people after buying Fog Solutions, a US data and AI firm, in August 2025 (acquisition announcement). Fog’s CEO, Matt Jackson, is now Nimble Gravity’s president (ColoradoBiz). The deal followed acquisitions of iGerencia in Colombia and mDEVZ in Argentina, and a 2025 growth investment from Rallyday Partners (acquisition announcement; About page).
  • Has engineers and architects in Denver, Boston, New York, Toronto, Guadalajara, Mexico City, Medellín, Buenos Aires, and Brazil (About page).
  • Was a finalist for Microsoft’s Americas Partner of the Year in the Emerging SI category in November 2025, chosen from more than 2,100 nominations (ColoradoBiz).
  • Launched an Applied Anthropic Practice for banking, financial services, and insurance in May 2026 with more than 20 Claude Certified Architect engineers (launch announcement), and holds Preferred status in Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network (Anthropic page).

Its documented client work includes:

  • An AI system on Azure AI Foundry for a national bank that drafts commercial credit memos in minutes instead of hours, followed by the design of the bank’s Databricks data platform after an assessment of more than 20,000 legacy tables (case study).
  • An agentic submission intake platform for a commercial insurer that classifies, extracts, and scores broker submissions in nine countries, 10% to 15% faster overall and 65% faster on complex cases (case study).
  • A Microsoft Fabric data platform and Claude-based pipeline for a private credit investor that drafts cited company pages for its investment committee, cutting analyst effort by 60% to 70% (case study).
  • An AI ordering system and web and mobile apps for Arctic Glacier, an ice producer, worth more than $1 million within 10 weeks, plus an IoT strategy and rollout roadmap for monitoring stock in its ice merchandisers (ordering case study; IoT case study).
  • Predictive monitoring for Bancolombia that tracks 13,800 clients a minute and cut response times by 60% (case study), and an e-commerce rebuild for Tribute Technology across more than 15,000 funeral home websites that lifted conversion by 27% (case study).

Scores by criterion

Nimble Gravity publishes no price list, so commercial clarity gets a low mark, and the other seven criteria come from its case studies, partner pages, and client quotes.
